Error while installing SQL Server 2000

    Error while installing SQL Server 2000

    Hi All,

     I am getting an error when I am trying to install SQL Server 2000..

    I am using the login with Domain admin as well as local admin rights..

    I am not sure if its problem with the OS or with the dumps that I am using..Need help ASAP - http://i27.tinypic.com/2rwqno3.jpg

     Did you try to install in other server or pc to check CD?

    Do you have any antivirus running?

    No..We have not tried them on other server..About Antivirus, I will check and revert

    Hi, The same dump is working in other servers..

    Please help me out

     My first thought is your CD have some issue. (That is why I asked for other servers).

    This issue got resolved..We installed the software with local system admin account..

    With Domain admin, it wasn't working

    It should work with domain user (admin permission) too, given a proper NTFS permission to the folders where you are installing SQL Server i.e. program files & temp folder
