Hi there...

ONe of job which runs every night for accounts update is failing by yesterday.This job uses LDAP Service to update accounts info from Active directory.
When i run the query in QA it gives below error
"Server: Msg 7399, Level 16, State 1, Line 19
OLE DB provider 'ADsDSOObject' reported an error. The provider indicates that the user did not have the permission to perform the operation.
OLE DB error trace [OLE/DB Provider 'ADsDSOObject' ICommandPrepare:repare returned 0x80040e09: The provider indicates that the user did not have the permission to perform the operation.]."

Nothing is being changes as such.
Please Advice.

AnyBody???????? Is it possible that i am the only one whose facing this issue....no one knows anything. I have searched google alot and found alot of people with this issue. But none of them with solution. Please help !!!!!

Hi there...

I got it done....i dont know what was the reason. All changes i made were added new login to the Linked Server properties Secuity tab.
And it worked.
