    Surface area configuration tool

    Hi,

When I am trying to connect to a remote computer using Surface area configuration tool (SQL Server 2005) using the option “Remote Computer”, I am getting the following error

“Computer RSXM004 does not exist on the Network or the computer cannot be configured remotely. Verify that the remote computer has the required Windows Management Instrumentation components and try again”

But I am able to connect to that computer using SSMS. Could anyone help me with this?

                                                 Thank you,

    Best Regards,

    SQL Buddy

Are you logged in using domain account? Right click on the SAC icon and use RUN As option. Check the last post in this thread.
